How to Use PomoMind.io

Use the Pomodoro timer

  1. Pick one thing to work on and press start on the focus timer.
  2. Stay with that task until the session ends.
  3. Defaults are 25 minutes of focus and 5 minutes for a short break, but you can adjust both in settings.
  4. While you are focusing, try turning on ambient noise: steady background sound can mask small distractions and make it easier to settle into deep work.
  5. When you hear the alert, stop working and take your break before starting the next round.
  6. After several focus cycles, use a longer break to recover properly.

Use meditation for more effective breaks

When a break begins, follow the on-screen guided meditation and breathing prompts instead of scrolling or jumping to another task. Short mindfulness resets help you return to focus with less mental clutter. If you like, turn on ambient sound during focus or breaks to mask noise and deepen relaxation—toggle it from the timer area when it suits you.

Add tasks to your list

Open the task list beside the timer and add what you plan to tackle. During a focus session, keep one task in mind and work only on that until the timer stops. Check off items when they are done, or edit and delete entries anytime as your day changes. Your list stays in sync with how you run pomodoros, so you always see what is next.
